An extensive three-day course for experienced OpenInsight developers. This course requires that the Introduction to Development in OpenInsight course has been completed. All demonstrations, examples, and exercises in the course use native OpenInsight tables and client/server data. The course covers the following topics:

• Advanced Basic + stored procedures and event handling.
• Introduction to the OpenInsight Printer Interface (OIPI) functions and messages.
• The use of DDE to load data into and out of other Windows applications, the use of Set and Get Property to insert data into and extract data from Microsoft Word and Excel, and the detailing of the DDE-specific properties that exist in Basic+.
• The creation and maintenance of data warehouses, including single and multi-value data, and scheduled updates.
• The use of the new XML Workspace tool.
